I'm not sure if a blog would quite do it. We'd need a pretty robust plug in that would pull and display media tagged in other places, plus something to display the map. Hmmm....

hi again intellagirl - I've been thinking a bit about this project. I recon a blog would cover it pretty well. For a back story, how about this scenario to kick it off: after WWII the Lithgow small arms factory is left with an embarrassing amount of illegal chemical weapons which they hide away in a disused coal mine (this actually happened, mustard gas was recently discovered in a mine shaft here, see: http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,24380097-5001021,00.html) - years later some of the tanks rupture, leaking toxic neurological compounds into the water supply.
And the rest, as they say, is history. Take for example this fellow (obviously visiting nearby Sydney from Lithgow) http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/zombie-beat-pepper-spray-and-officers/2008/10/08/1223145421609.html

ha ha, great idea - I think that there might be a few zombies here in Lithgow already (country NSW, Australia), but they're damned hard to pick from the average shambling local

Bryan: I don't think so. Audio could be really fun and photos would certainly work too. Anything else you think would work?
